Academy Director
Lester Cambre, Jr. is the school's director and chief instructor. He has studied under 8 major league umpires and several NCAA conference officials. As of this date, he has worked 8 high school championship series, 2 championship games on the plate and one national AAU championship! Starting at the playground level and working his way up to division 1 Southwestern Athletic Conference, he has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experiences in game situations that he uses to give his students a solid foundation so that they can be better prepared before they step onto the field. This makes the Gulf South Umpire's Academy the best place to begin your umpiring career. |
